ABC News: Eric Trump is slamming a Forbes report that alleges his charity, the Eric Trump Foundation, has been funneling donations — from donors who believed the money was going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital — to the Trump Organization by paying high sums for use of Trump properties during fundraisers and redonating some funds to charities friendly with Trump interests.



Forbes reported Tuesday that the Eric Trump Foundation paid the Trump family business hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last seven years for use of one of the organization’s golf courses, funds which he claimed were being donated nearly in full to the children’s cancer charity.

Forbes reported that in 2011, costs for Eric Trump’s golf tournament fundraiser tripled because his father realized that the organization had not been charging for the event and there were no bills to prove it. The Foundation declined to provide Forbes with an itemized list of expenses for the tournament.

  1. Actually it is the easiest job in the world, and I’ll just say, people haven’t even cut loose yet.

    Anything you see here, is (very) restrained , compared to what is available and what should actually be done. Among all, supporters and not, Trump emits an invisible whine that begs restraint and gives one pause. It is inexplicable, but present. It is an anomaly. But not one that is unknown. It puzzles every time. That is why I never blame anyone taken into his con.

  2. The further you dig into so called charities the angrier people are going to be. St Jude has been advertising like crazy and the money does not go to children. remember it was not long ago, that it was found the Vatican dipped into Peter’s Pence, the sacred charity for the most destitute , to fund the first major motion picture depicting two gay men having sex. So, you would think that would have woke up some Catholics, and it gets way worse than that.
    To do charitable works, donate directly , not through a middle man, no matter how ethical you think they are, they are most certainly not. Open the books and start taxing all monies and properties that are not directly performing charity.
