Health Editor’s Note: Trump works with every breath he takes to undercut scientists and with hundreds of people dying daily of COVID-19, a virus that he knew the veracity of and totally mishandled any hope of stopping, he has no place in this process. He has sickened and killed enough of us. Trump is the hand maiden of COVID-19.
Trump has stated that he “may or may not” approve new FDA guidelines that would toughen the process of approval for the coronavirus vaccine. Former commissioners of the FDA accuse Trump of trying to undermine the work of the FDA and to seed thoughts of distrust which affect the general public.
Vaccine drug makers have pledged to use FDA’s scientific standards while making the COVID-19 vaccine. Once again Trump ignores science and says these new guidelines are being used as a political play on the part of the FDA. Is this not the kettle calling the pot black?. Who is Trump, with no scientific or medical background what so ever, to tell the FDA that he will have the final say over which vaccine will be used, when it will be deemed safely usable, etc.? Trump, butt out of this because you have no idea of what is going on…Carol
