Trump and Pence say that Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine was funded by the government’s Operation Warp Speed Program and would like to claim credit for Pfizer’s production of a COVID-19 vaccine that is at least 90% effective. Well as it happens the funding came from Berlin, not the U.S. government as claimed. Always, trying to take the credit. The crazy clown show continues….Carol

Why are we still dwelling over the fact that republicans are lying opportunists.
I still remember Reagan the conman taking credit for Paul Volcker’s keeping the interest rates high until 1982 to slow down borrowing and dropping them in 83 to encourage borrowing. It had nothing to do with the Reagan administration, but he went around telling everyone look a how good I am.
And then in 87 under intense pressure from Reagan and Baker, Volcker resigns giving way to Greenspan, letting Reagan rape the rest of the institutions that had not gone through his deregulations already.

It was reported that the Pfizer CEO called President-elect Biden with news of the vaccine, not Trump.
Edward, Which would make perfect sense since Pfizer was having none of what Trump was ‘giving’ out. We have Biden who will pay close attention to what science and medicine believe will work. Biden will not be prescribing ‘preventatives and treatments.’ There will be no COVID-19 vacuum. We never had to bleed Americans, those who are old, have comorbidities, ethnic, if we had taken control with no political rivalries allowed in any decision used to combat coronavirus. Australia agreed to be on the same page, no matter what it took, and they have only 907 deaths and New Zealand only has 25 deaths.
