Bloomberg reports that Trump administration clears the way for a formal Biden transition to begin.
Michigan certified its vote today, which puts Biden adding his total, with Georgia and Pennsylvania to take him over the 270 electoral votes needed. Apparently the Trump regime had planned to allow the transition to go forward if this happened.
So it was a good day, starting out with Trump firing Sidney Powell. That was followed later in the day with a Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell filing complaints with five state bar associations to have Giuliani and 22 of Trump’s lawyers working on ‘The Steal’ to be disbarred.
Biden also announced some of his key administration appointments today, as if he already knew the Trump courtroom boat had hit the reef.

Emily Murphy, head of the General Services Administration, said in a letter to President-elect Joe Biden on Monday that her office is ready to begin the formal presidential transition, after weeks of pressure from Democrats to allow the process to go ahead.
Trump thanked Murphy in tweets Monday night and said he had recommended that she and her team “do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols.” But he also maintained, “Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!”
The nominations are: Alejandro Mayorkas to head the Department of Homeland Security, the first immigrant in that position; Avril D. Haines as director of national intelligence, the first woman in that position; and former secretary of state John F. Kerry as special presidential envoy for climate.
The General Services Administration has ascertained that President-elect Joe Biden is the “apparent winner” of the Nov. 3 election, clearing the way for the start of the transition from President Donald Trump’s administration.
An official said Administrator Emily Murphy made the determination after Trump efforts to subvert the vote failed across battleground states, most recently in Michigan, which certified Biden’s victory Monday.
