Monsters Among Us: Instagram Bans RFK Jr. for Disinformation and outright Lying About Vaccine Dangers

Daily Beast: Instagram has banned anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for sharing lies about the coronavirus vaccine. At the time of his account’s disbarring, Kennedy had roughly 800,000 followers.

A spokesperson for Facebook, which owns Instagram, said in a statement, “We removed this account for repeatedly sharing debunked claims about the coronavirus or vaccines.”

Kennedy is the most prominent anti-vaxxer in the United States and traded on his family name to lead celebrities and other famous figures into the dark waters of vaccine hesitancy, even bringing anti-vaccination skepticism into Trump Tower to discuss with former President Donald Trump. The World Health Organization has designated vaccine hesitancy a major threat to public health, especially as vaccination efforts against COVID-19 ramp up.

  1. Hmm. . . have they banned Dr. Vernon Coleman yet? But I believe you can only access his podcasts on BitChute. JouTube won’t let him on there. So much for freedom of speech. And this is a democratic republic – Orwell would roll over in his grave.

  2. The correct answer is to limit market share and monopoly , not sidestep the duty of anti-trust and allow monopolies to do the censoring for government.
Because we have ignored anti-trust, we have placed the new book burners in charge of way too much censorship. There should be no censorship and the word would not be used if the marketshare was not an issue. Break them up or be ruled by them instead of the peoples vote.
Religion kills or damages way more people than anti-vaxers. Isn’t that who owned most of the nursing homes ?
