Manhattan Prosecutors zero in on current, former Trump allies

[ Editors Note: Glenn has a quick four minute report covering his bet that Cy Vance is moving forward quickly to bring charges against Trump on his business dealings at an increased pace and extra hiring to help wade through the old tax files that were recently released.

The prosecutors are bringing Michael Cohen in physically to help them wade through the released files quicker to find the gems that have the best fraud charge potential. Later ones can always be added on.



Trump’s accountant Allen Weisselberg is in the hot seat, with his kids involved, a soft spot for the prosecutors to put pressure on to get dad to cooperate. I would bet Vance wants to have an indictment rolling before summer.

Trump is said to begin campaigning soon to support loyalist Senators and put his political muscle on display. The prosecutors want to taint that effort, not just by filing charges against him and his family, but to show they have a good case so Trump cannot fluff it off as a witch hunt.

Georgia has its grand jury in session now and they will be done by summer. The Feds just got 60 more days of delay before the DC courts begin setting trial dates for rioters. They wanted the time to build stronger, bigger conspiracy charge cases, and also to flip some of those under arrest against others to make the cases easier to get convictions on.

Don’t forget that Merrick Garland is going to need April and May to get settled into the Dept. of Justice case backlog, but by June we should have some indication of which Trump cases he wants to pursue first… Jim W. Dean ]

  1. Seeing Michael Cohen running around free as a bird when he’s set to give important testimony against Trump and the Kosher Nostra… Don’t witnesses against the Mob tend to “disappear” in NYC? Or, is that just part of the plan? Inquiring minds want to know, Jim.

  2. My bet is just we will see a big media show and nothing will happen at end, zionists they go to leverage and support Trump using all available cards in their deck and they have many….
