Health Editor’s Note: Speculations, some wild, fanciful, and others realistic and scientifically based, have been in news reports for months and months as we have experienced hundreds of thousands of deaths due to COVID-19. There has been recent increased reporting on attempts of find the true source of COVID-19. While I suppose it would be of some importance to find out where this virus originated and thus how it could have been prevented, or somehow holding those who perhaps produced it intentionally accountable we are still dealing with a world-wide pandemic. Clearly people are still dying from COVID-19. Vaccinations are the only way out of this morass so do not let the renewed interest in the origins of COVID take away from the march to vaccinate the world and get ahead of this virus. Biden tasks intelligence community to report on Covid origins in 90 days

(CNN)President Joe Biden said Wednesday he has directed the US intelligence community to redouble their efforts in investigating the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic and report back to him in 90 days.
The announcement comes after a US intelligence report found several researchers at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology fell ill in November 2019 and had to be hospitalized — a new detail that fueled fresh public pressure on Biden to delve deeper into the origin of the virus.
“As part of that report, I have asked for areas of further inquiry that may be required, including specific questions for China. I have also asked that this effort include work by our National Labs and other agencies of our government to augment the Intelligence Community’s efforts. And I have asked the Intelligence Community to keep Congress fully apprised of its work,” Biden said in a statement.
The President said: “The failure to get our inspectors on the ground in those early months will always hamper any investigation into the origin of COVID-19.”
Biden said in the statement that in March he directed his national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, to task the intelligence community with preparing a report on the most up-to-date analysis of the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic, including whether the virus emerged from human contact with an infected animal or from a laboratory accident. Biden said he received that report earlier this month and asked for additional follow-up.

While they are investigating, they might like to investigate the Mayor of some city in NY* who says he had it before it was officially in the US. They might like to investigate why the Japanese “patients-0” caught it in the US not China and how it was in Europe before it appeared in the US. They might also like to investigate the reports from the Times of Israel and Israeli TV (Not denied, BTW.) that US intelligence told Israeli intelligence that there was a “Nasty epidemic” raging in Wuhan in Nov. 2019.

Yeah! Well, careful what you wish for! How about the CDC releasing its finding and proceedings which have been Top Secret since the pandemic started? (How’s that for “transparency”?) How about explaining why they were Top Secret too?
We know from articles in this site, that the research, which almost certainly fuelled this pandemic, was conducted, not only in Wuhan but also, before that, in Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina. Why assume that it “escaped” from Wuhan? How about “investigating” the reason that the Fort Detrick Bio-War Lab was shut down just before the pandemic began? How about explaining why in the time before the pandemic began and for a while thereafter, doctors in the US were prohibited from doing autopsies and other tests on patients who were suffering from what seems now, very like Covid-19?
