Opinion: ‘Let’s go Brandon’ is Republicans’ vulgar governing agenda
…from the Washington Post
[ Editor’s Note: We have entered a political Twilight Zone now. Republican politicians will say anything, no matter how untruthful and ridiculous, and the Trumper hordes will cheer every word.
None of them care whether it is true or not, as long is it hurts what the Democrats are trying to do. I have some of the highlights below, which the Republi-Nazis just turn upside down to re-interpret left to mean right, and up to mean down.
While this goes on, the Repubs are busy with their non stop ‘stolen election’ promotion, while they are moving heaven and earth, right out in the open, to rig enough future elections via uber brownshirts in Republican legislature states to rig the running of elections so that they never lose, by making themselves both judge and jury.
If that is not scary enough, even more so is that what we have standing in their way is a comfortable Republican majority on the Supreme Court to rule their election rigging coup as unconstitutional.
The world looks on as the alleged bastion of freedom and democracy descends into the depths of a political anarchy that seems to be growing, rather than losing its steam this far past the last election.
Sixty plus court rulings against the Trump grifter legal team have not dampened the Trumper fervor whatsoever. Congressional Republicans complicit in the Jan 6th Insurrection remain unapologetic.
American is devouring itself, an act which in the end will not produce a winner, but only at best, part of one. I worry that we will never be the same again… Jim W. Dean ]

At 7:30 Thursday morning, White House officials rolled out President Biden’s roughly $1.75 trillion framework to cut taxes for ordinary Americans. An hour later came the Republican response, from Mitch McConnell of Kentucky… “F— Joe Biden.”
…By the administration’s calculations, the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill and the $1.75 trillion Build Back Better plan combined would add nothing — zip! zero! nada! — to the federal deficit. Yet Republicans, after approving nearly $8 trillion in new debt under Donald Trump, now howl about reckless spending.
Biden’s plan, the White House says, would not require anybody earning under $400,000 a year to pay a penny more in taxes, and it imposes a minimum tax only on businesses earning more than $1 billion a year in profits.
It goes after profitable corporations that pay nothing, hedge fund managers who dodge taxes and businesses that hide money overseas. This is a crackdown on tax cheating by the filthy rich — and the GOP stands with the tax cheats.
…Sen. John Neely Kennedy (R-La.) called it “class warfare” that would “crush small business.” (How many small businesses have $1 billion in annual profits?)
Rep. Darin LaHood (R-Ill.) tweeted that it would “raise taxes on working families.” (Shed a tear for those “working families” earning more than $10 million annually!)
