The FBI team that arrested Flynn was sent after VT because of its supposed relationship with Flynn…

Daily Beast: Former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn has embraced his position as a hero to QAnon conspiracy theorists. He took the QAnon oath, sold QAnon T-shirts, and even auctioned off a QAnon quilt. He appeared at a QAnon convention and signed books with a QAnon slogan. Some QAnon followers even believe that Flynn is “Q,” the mysterious figure behind QAnon.

 

But a recording released late Saturday night by a one-time Flynn ally suggests that the retired three-star general privately believes QAnon to be “total nonsense.”

On Saturday night, pro-Trump lawyer and QAnon booster Lin Wood released a recording of what purports to be a phone call between Wood and Flynn on Telegram. The audio’s publication comes amid a right-wing civil war pitting Wood against one-time allies like Flynn and other figures involved in the 2020 attempt to overturn the election.

In the call, Wood complains to Flynn that his QAnon supporters had attacked Wood online. But Flynn attempts to disown QAnon, claiming it’s a “disinformation campaign” created by the CIA.

“I think it’s a disinformation campaign,” Flynn said on the call. “I think it’s a disinformation campaign that the CIA created. That’s what I believe. Now, I don’t know that for a fact, but that’s what I think it is. I think it’s a disinformation campaign.”

  1. One thing about the covid 19 “controversy;” a lot virtual ink has been splattered from one end of the spectrum to the other.
    For those who eventually see this ordeal to its final resolution/conclusion, there may have to be some serious rethinking of their once dogmatic positions.
    Of course that also depends on the officially approved version of its “truth.”

    • Don’t hold your breath waiting for any admission of “rethinking” here. There are people who are correct, ones who are confused, and ones who are stupid morons. Correct thinkers never “rethink”. That runs the risk of confusion, if not plain stupidity. Know thyself!

  2. Being as how COVID-19 is a US bioweapon and the new variants are more than likely new-and-improved versions that are being deployed right up to the present day, an insidious side-affect of this bioweapon is that it makes people crazy before it kills them.

  3. The good news it the number of anti-vaxers is declining as they die of Covid. For those who infected others, over which they don’t give a give, may you rot in hell. For you family, especially the childern I have some sympathy that you had such a bad role model. The good news is a lot of kids have suvived fucked up parents.
