The Israeli Ministry of Defence has reached an agreement with German ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) on the purchase of three Dakar-class submarines.  4:49 on video for nuclear missile issue for these specially modified/enlarged submarines like the one that may have attacked Washington on 9/11.

SF: The agreement was signed on January 20 in Tel Aviv. It implies the construction of three submarines of the new Dakar project aimed to replace the first three Dolphin-class submarines, also built in Germany and put into operation in 1999-2000. The $3.4 billion contract also includes the supply of a special simulator for training Israeli specialists and further supply of spare parts.

According to TKMS, the Dakar class will be of a completely new design, which is to be specifically engineered to fulfill the operational requirements of the Israeli Navy.

The deployment of the first new submarine is scheduled to 2031.

“We, as thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and Germans, are honoured and proud to continue the long cooperation – spanning decades – with the Israeli Ministry of Defence and the Israeli Navy. The new class of submarine will provide Israel with the most advanced capabilities, based on an innovative, cutting-edge technology.

This agreement demonstrates the deep commitment of thyssenkrupp Marine Systems to guarantee Israel’s long-term security. It was signed after a thorough and extensive groundwork process, and I would like to thank our partners in the Ministry of Defence and the Israeli Navy for their commitment and professionalism.” -Dr Rolf Wirtz, CEO thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, claimed.

Dr Rolf Wirtz claimed Tel Aviv to be the company’s longstanding partner, adding that in the last joint project with the Israeli Navy, the SA’AR-6 project, TKMS delivered four corvettes on time and within budget.

According to the company’s statement, in preparation for the expected order, thyssenkrupp had already agreed to investments of about 250 million euro for thyssenkrupp Marine Systems in 2019.

To date, the Israeli submarine force consists of six Dolphin-type submarines, of which five are in service, and the sixth is still under construction. They all were built in Germany.

The first three Dolphin-type diesel-electric submarines will be replaced by the new Dakar project submarines.

The other submarines include two modified submarines of the Dolphin 2 project. Another Dolphin 2 submarine should join the fleet in 2023.

Israel effectively operates German-made submarines, unlike the German Navy. The German Navy has at least 4 out of 6 submarines of Project 212A standing at the pier, having no opportunity to immediately go to sea either for technical reasons or due to a shortage of trained personnel. At the same time, all the submarines are listed as operational.

  1. Is it not strange in the least that these are not subject to the same JCPOA requirements as Iran per nuke capable weapon systems? More weapons for Israel, but a total embargo against Yemen? Kudos to D Moore and Sarge. How much plainer does it have to be for people to get it?

  2. Paid for by US Taxpayers.

  3. Why now? The Samson Option has already been deployed in Israeli embassies all around Europe and the USA. Israeli poet Itamar Yaoz-Kest once wrote, “And yet, there is a right reserved only to us [Ashkenazim] (if indeed any human on Earth has this right): to be destroyed and to take the weary and sated world with us to the non-existence, along with its wondrous libraries and heart-stirring tunes – just so, after we descend to the grave, while the ground emits radioactive rays to all four winds. For it is the right of the Nation of Israel to finally shut the gates to the world after it leaves this place (not of its free will!), and we have the right to say, at the price of the 3,000-year-old fear: “If you force us yet again to descend from the face of the Earth to the depths of the Earth – let the Earth roll toward the Nothingness.”

  4. Israel is not buying three more German subs, Germany is giving them three more sub. Like the three ship that Israel just got, Germany built and paid for them. Israel only pays for fitting out them with their electronics and weapons systems. Like the US, Germany gives them money to buy their weapons so it seems like they buy it but with others money. So do they really buy them?

  5. Agreement is probably not even inked that we will not demand as much from you next year as we have been every year since 70 years ago and we want Bundestag’s anti-BDS resolution to be law.
