SF: The headquarters of the Azov special detachment in Mariupol were hit with the Tochka-U tactical missile system by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to the DPR People’s Militia.

According to the report, more than 20 militants were killed.

“The location of the headquarters of a separate special purpose detachment “Azov” in the south-west of Mariupol was struck by the armed forces of Ukraine with the “Tochka-U” tactical missile system. As a result of the strike, more than 20 militants and 10 pieces of equipment were destroyed,” the report says.

The attack was a result of the contradictions between the UAF command and commanders of the Azov battalion.

Members of the Azov nationalist battalion, who are now blockaded in the city of Mariupol, reportedly refused to obey and coordinate their actions with the command of the Ukrainian Army.

The nationalist battalions pose a big threat not only to the Russian soldiers but also to the local civilians, who were kept hostage in the city, as well as to the current regime in Kiev and President Volodymir Zelensky. The crowds of armed nationalists have gained power in Ukraine during the last few years.

Today, when the Russian troops have taken control over several major cities and continued their advance, these members of the Ukrainian nationalist battalions would point their guns at Mr. Zelenskiy if he accepts the defeat of Ukraine. Meanwhile, the numbers of casualties are growing in the ranks of both warring sides, as well as among the civilians.

  1. Andrew, you are right. Germany has emptied it’s DDR weapons stockpile and and few others, which where long outdated. Of course, the Bild-Zeitung asked the question, if the weapons were capable of killing Russians. You must know that if you start working for the BILD, you have to sign a paper. It states, that you’ll never wright anything against the interest of the USA and the interest of ISRAEL, no joke – since after the war!

    In Germany we have the saying since 1918: “Wer hat uns verraten, Sozialdemokraten”. The famous German writer Karl von Ossietzky used the name “Axikraldemosten instead of Sozialdemokraten”. Greetings.

  2. The head of NATO made statements on the situation in Ukraine.
    All NATO countries believe that the Alliance’s forces should not be sent to Ukraine, the bloc’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said today.

    “We agree that there should be no NATO aircraft or NATO ground forces there,” he said at a press conference in Brussels following a meeting of the foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance.

    The head of NATO made it clear that they would not try to introduce a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

    In addition, Stoltenberg made several more statements:

    ► NATO expects the situation in Ukraine to get worse in the coming days;
    ► NATO calls on Russia to immediately withdraw troops from Ukraine and start negotiations;
    ► NATO is responsible for ensuring that the conflict in Ukraine does not go beyond the borders of Ukraine, but does not seek war with Russia;
    The NATO Foreign Ministers agreed to expand cooperation with Finland and Sweden, they will take part in all meetings of the Alliance.

    (No, Russia will continue this hard job and it will be done no matter what. We don’t care about NATO, UNO, etc.)!

  3. The official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, spoke about the course of the special operation of the Russian Army in Ukraine. In particular, he reported on the uncovered criminal plan of the Nazis and Western journalists in Kharkiv with many victims.

    “According to confirmed data, multiple rocket launchers are placed in the private sector between houses on Zhilardi Street in the Kiev district. The nationalists forbid local residents, including children, to leave their homes. Now the installations are ready to fire at units of the Russian armed forces located outside the city. The purpose of the provocation is to cause the return fire of Russian artillery on the residential sector of Kharkiv. All this is planned to be filmed on cameras with the subsequent transfer of filming to Western journalists,” Konashenkov said.

  4. German media: Berlin has disgraced itself with the supply of Soviet MANPADS for Ukraine.
    Berlin has decided to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with 2,700 portable anti-aircraft missile systems “Strela”. Once they were in service with the National People’s Army (NPA) GDR, and are now stored in reserve warehouses, the newspaper Bild writes.
    At the same time, the question arises – how capable are these MANPADS? As German journalists from Der Spiegel managed to find out, at least a third of the available “Arrows” are inoperable.
    What a shame for the federal government!
    – Bild is indignant.
    As the authors note, the rockets are more than 35 years old. In 2012, they were actually withdrawn even from the reserve, but at the same time remained in storage in warehouses. The reason is microcracks in the ammunition drive unit, which led to corrosion.
