There was a time when we in Australia had reporters like Patrick, I recall the guy (sad to say I cannot remember his name) who waited in the US Embassy grounds in Saigon until the first NVA Tanks arrived, he film recorded every minute not knowing what kind of treatment he might have received after that insane conflict came to an end. These brave characters are missing today, so sad let us pray Patrick keeps his head down and has lady luck on side.
Patrick Lancaster shows the NY Times, WaPo, Politico, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, Fox, Sky, BBC, Die Welt, France 24 and all of the rest of our craven media outlets in western Europe and north America just how journalism should be conducted. It’s not just that these media outlets have no journalists reporting from on the ground in Donbass; there are no journalists working for any of them and none working for the overwhelming majority of our ruling class’s propaganda towers of babel.
Some fine day, Patrick will be honoured in our western society for the work he has carried out in Donbass and elsewhere but that honour will not be conferred anytime soon and certainly not until we ordinary people get our act together and expel our ruling classes forever and cast them into the wilderness. If that causes the break-up of the EU, British Commonwealth and UK and the US, then so be it. Far better that that happens than that we all live beneath their dogmatic whip blared to us on each and every day from our local, national and international propaganda outfits that masquerade as news.
