Anti-Spiegel.ru – The US has been conducting research on bat coronaviruses in Georgia and Ukraine. Documents from the US show that the US Department of Defense is researching bat coronaviruses in Georgia. Now the Russian Defense Ministry has presented evidence of the same research in Ukraine.

Regular readers of the Anti-Spiegel know Dr. Peter Daszak since June 2021. It was then that I first reported on Daszak, his NGO EcoHealth Alliance in New York, and his US government-funded research in Wuhan. dr Together with other virologists in Wuhan, Daszak has been researching how to make bat coronaviruses contagious to humans, the technical term for this is “Gain of Function Research” (GoF).

But since not all readers know the story, I have to summarize it briefly, you will find more information in the linked articles. So this is going to be one of my infamously long articles again because to understand the current news I have to tell a longer backstory. But I promise you that this article is worth reading very carefully.

Peter Daszak and the Chinese Bats

In 2014 dr. Fauci, head of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), directed funding to a New York-based NGO called the EcoHealth Alliance, which was led by Dr. Peter Daszak. Daszak transferred part of the funds to the laboratory in Wuhan and he also did research there himself. He met with the American coronavirus expert Dr. Ralph Baric and Chinese bat expert Dr. Shi, who worked together.

The three collected coronaviruses from bats in a cave in China and researched how to make them contagious to humans. This gain of function research was put on a moratorium by President Obama at the end of 2014, i.e. prohibited. However, this has not prevented the researchers from continuing the research and also from publishing scientific articles about their work. They modified mice so that they have a human immune system (the technical term is “humanized”) and infected the mice with the genetically modified coronavirus.

The database with the gene sequences from their work was online for years on the Wuhan laboratory’s website. However, the database was taken offline on September 12, 2019. A leaked internal letter (read the full text here ) from the Pentagon states that the virus escaped the lab in August 2019 and that the lab took the database offline on September 12 to diagnose the virus to cover up the lab.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Daszak has always appeared publicly when it came to contradicting the laboratory thesis. He was one of the signatories to an open letter in the February 2020 Lancet in which a number of scientists have contradicted the lab’s thesis. The letter is of particular interest because of its co-signers, but more on that later.

Incidentally, Dr. Drosten signed the letter. For a long time, Drosten insisted that SARS-CoV-2 could not have originated in the laboratory, but had to be of natural origin. In view of the facts that have since become public, Drosten has rowed back in an  interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung  and said that ” things were done in Wuhan that could be described as dangerous .” Drosten still believes that the virus originated naturally, but if one remembers his categorical statements of the last two years, one gets the impression that he is trying to put his earlier statements into perspective.

But back to Dr. Daszak

When the WHO sent a commission of inquiry to Wuhan in February 2021, this commission came to the conclusion that it was “extremely unlikely” that Covid-19 originated in the laboratory. And who was the only American on the commission? Correct: Dr. Daszak

A month later, Daszak was asked in London whether the Commission could look at the gene banks that had been taken down as part of its investigation. His answer was impressive :

“We didn’t ask to see the data… As you know, a lot of that work was done with the EcoHealth Alliance… We basically know what’s in those databases.”

Daszak was therefore allowed to examine his own work in Wuhan for the WHO and issue a clean bill of health for himself.

Peter Daszak and the Asiatic Bats

As it turns out, the EcoHealht Alliance wasn’t just interested in bat coronaviruses from China. In 2017, Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance founded the Western Asia Bat Research Network, also known as the Bats & Coronaviruses Project. As part of this project, EcoHealth has been looking for bat coronaviruses across virtually all of Asia if we include the work in China.

Specifically, Georgia is named as a “partner country” in the project. Georgia is home to the Lugar Center, a Pentagon-run top-secret bio-lab run by the Pentagon. EcoHealth collaborated with the laboratory on the project. I will tell about it in a more detailed article in more detail and with all sources.

For now, confirming my contention, the EcoHealth Alliance received almost $3.8 million from the Pentagon for the bat project, not counting the funding for the research in Wuhan.

The research by Daszak and his NGO has caused unease in the US Congress after the outbreak of the Covid pandemic. Because Daszak conducted this research with Pentagon funds, rather than with funds from the US Department of Health and Human Services, some members of Congress wrote a letter to the US Secretary of Defense with questions.

I don’t want to go into detail here, I just want to prove that the EcoHealth Alliance did research and did research on how to make coronaviruses from bats contagious to humans. This is not Russian propaganda, according to US government documents.

US bioweapons laboratories in Georgia and Ukraine

The Lugar Center is a secret bio-lab operated by the Pentagon in Georgia. It is run by the same Pentagon agency as the Biolabs in Ukraine. This is the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), which also launched Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance bat project in 2017 and funded it with millions. This agency also operated the laboratories in Ukraine.

This is not Russian propaganda either, as can be seen in the factsheets published by the US government about the Biolabs in Ukraine, which the US government has now taken offline. I linked them in this article because you can still find them in the internet archive and you can read in each of them that they were built with funds from the DTRA.

The US government now denies that the US conducted bioweapons research in Ukraine after Russia released initial documents it received from employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories. It’s all Russian propaganda, says Washington.

But what is researching how to make animal pathogens contagious to humans other than working on bioweapons? This is exactly what Daszak has been researching in Wuhan and his bat project in (among other places) Georgia has been researching on the same topic. By the way, this is forbidden under the Biological Weapons Convention.

But the question is what exactly the US has been researching in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense had already published the first documents showing that research was being carried out in the US laboratories in Ukraine, among other things, on pathogens that caused the plague, cholera, anthrax, and other dangerous diseases.

New information from Ukraine

Now the Russian Ministry of Defense has issued another press release, which, among other things, dealt with the finds in Ukraine. It says (emphasis mine):

“The Russian Ministry of Defense continues to analyze documents on secret US military and biological activities in Ukraine handed over by employees of Ukrainian laboratories. Russian NBC specialists have examined documents on the transfer of human biomaterial shipped abroad in Ukraine at the behest of US officials.

Detailed information on the implementation of the US project on the transmission of pathogens by wild birds migrating between Ukraine and Russia and other neighboring countries was also of particular interest.

According to the documents, the American side planned to work on pathogens of birds, bats in 2022, and reptiles in Ukraine, with the further transition to investigate the possibility of transmission of African swine fever and anthrax through them.

Records from laboratories set up and funded in Ukraine show that experiments were carried out using bat coronavirus samples.

The goal of this and other Pentagon-funded biological research in Ukraine was to create a mechanism for the covert spread of deadly pathogens.

In the near future, we will publish another package of documents received from Ukrainian collaborators and present the results of their examination.”

Doesn’t that sound exactly like Peter Daszak’s research? Again it was (among other things) about bats. Anyway, I’m not surprised because Daszak is researching bat coronaviruses and doing it with US government money and in Georgia, he’s doing it in collaboration with the Pentagon agency, which also runs the US labs in Ukraine. It would have been a surprise for me if Daszak hadn’t also become active in Ukraine.

Even more details

Shortly after the press release quoted above, the Russian Defense Ministry official responsible for NBC weapons issued a lengthy press release, which I have translated in its entirety. I set the links to the published documents as they are set in the press release.

Start of translation:

The Russian Defense Ministry continues to review materials related to the conduct of US and NATO allies’ bioweapons programs in Ukraine.

Information from various sources confirms the leading role of the United States Office of Military Threat Reduction in funding and conducting military and biological research on the territory of Ukraine.

Details of the UP-4 project , carried out with the participation of laboratories in Kiev, Kharkiv, and Odessa and scheduled to last until 2020, have become known.

The goal was to investigate the possibility of the spread of particularly dangerous infections by migratory birds, including the highly pathogenic H5N1 influenza, which has a mortality rate of up to 50 percent in humans, and Newcastle disease.

Due to Ukraine’s unique geographic location, where transcontinental migratory routes intersect, 145 biological species were studied in this project. At least two species of migratory birds were identified, whose routes lead mainly through Russian territory. At the same time, information on migration routes through Eastern European countries was summarized.

Of all the ways to destabilize the epidemiological situation developed in the United States, this is one of the most reckless and irresponsible, since it does not allow to control further developments. This is confirmed by the course of the pandemic infection with the new coronavirus, the origin, and characteristics of which raise many questions.

Also of interest is the P-781 project, which studies bats as vectors of potential biological warfare agents.

A priority is a research into bacterial and viral pathogens that can be transmitted from bats to humans, such as plague, leptospirosis, brucellosis, coronaviruses and filoviruses.

It is worth noting that the research is being conducted in close proximity to Russia’s borders – in areas on the Black Sea coast and in the Caucasus.

The project involves not only Ukrainian but also Pentagon-controlled Georgian bio laboratories in cooperation with the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the US Geological Survey.

The analyzed materials of the UP-8 project to study the Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever virus and hantaviruses in Ukraine clearly refute the US claim that the Pentagon bio laboratories in Ukraine are exclusively staffed by Ukrainian scientists without the participation of US biologists work. A document confirms that all serious, high-risk research is being conducted under the direct supervision of US specialists.

The payroll of the Ukrainian participants clearly shows how they were funded. It confirms that the US Department of Defense pays for participation in the research directly and without the involvement of intermediary organizations. What is striking is the extremely modest remuneration by American standards. This shows that the professionalism of Ukrainian experts was underestimated and that they were neglected by their American colleagues.

In addition, the examined materials contain proposals for the expansion of the US military-biological program on the territory of Ukraine. There are indications of the continuation of the completed biological projects UP-2, UP-9, and UP-10, which are aimed at researching anthrax and African swine fever pathogens.

The Pentagon is also interested in insects as vectors that can spread dangerous infectious diseases. The analysis of the received material confirms the fact that more than 140 containers with bat ectoparasites – fleas and ticks – were sent abroad from the Kharkiv biological laboratory.

Significantly, in the 1940s, similar research into the manufacture of biological weapons components was undertaken by Japanese Unit 731, members of which later fled prosecution for war crimes to the United States.

I would like to remind you that the representatives of Western countries are extremely careful about sharing their biomaterials.

At the same time, the available documents confirm numerous cases when biological samples of Ukrainian citizens were taken abroad. Thus, 350 cryogenic containers with blood serum samples were handed over from the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to the Reference Laboratory for Infectious Diseases of the Australian Institute Dougherty under the pretext of determining antibody titers.

Another example is the German-funded project No. 68727 EN to study the causative agents of Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever and hantaviruses. As part of this project, one thousand blood serum samples from citizens from different regions of Ukraine who belong exclusively to the Slavic ethnic group were sent to the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg.

It is very likely that one of the goals of the US and its allies is to develop bioagents that selectively target different ethnic groups.

At a hearing before the US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee on March 8, Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland reported on the presence of bioweapons in Ukraine, where biosecurity research is being conducted. She expressed concern about the possibility that these biolaboratories and the materials they contain could be taken over by the Russian armed forces. ( Translator’s note: I reported on this and quoted the statement, see details here )

According to available information, the Americans have already managed to evacuate most of the documents, including databases, biomaterials and equipment from the laboratories in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odessa to the Lviv Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene and to the US consulate in Lviv . The possibility of moving part of the collection to Poland is not excluded.

In fact, Nuland’s testimony indirectly confirmed that the Pentagon is conducting a bioweapons program in Ukraine, circumventing existing international agreements.

final word from me

Here’s another comment from me: I am primarily addressing those who have read my book ” Inside Corona “. My informant, who I call “Mr. X” because he wants to remain anonymous, is currently working on an analysis of the Pentagon-funded Biolabs in Georgia (Lugar Center) and in Ukraine. We already found a close connection to the EcoHealth Alliance during the initial analysis of the data. But we found a lot more that we are still verifying and reviewing.

We’re still working on the details, but I’ll be releasing an in-depth article (or more) about it with all the sources in the next few days.

U.S GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON “BIOWEAPONS”

STATE.GOV – On March 9, 2022, the U.S. State Department issued an Official Press Statement refuting all Bio and Chemical Weapons claims made by Russia.

“The Kremlin is intentionally spreading outright lies that the United States and Ukraine are conducting chemical and biological weapons activities in Ukraine. We have also seen PRC officials echo these conspiracy theories. This Russian disinformation is total nonsense and not the first time Russia has invented such false claims against another country. Also, these claims have been debunked conclusively and repeatedly over many years.

As we have said all along, Russia is inventing false pretexts in an attempt to justify its own horrific actions in Ukraine. The United States does not own or operate any chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine, it is in full compliance with its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and Biological Weapons Convention, and it does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere. It is Russia that has active chemical and biological weapons programs and is in violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention and Biological Weapons Convention.

Finally, Russia has a track record of accusing the West of the very crimes that Russia itself is perpetrating. These tactics are an obvious ploy by Russia to try to justify further premeditated, unprovoked, and unjustified attacks on Ukraine. We fully expect Russia to continue to double down on these sorts of claims with further unfounded allegations.”
