JEA: If you read Yahoo News and other New World Order outlets, you get the impression that Russia is being obliterated almost every day. Apparently, this is not so.
The Foreign Ministry has sent to the Duma a list of Russia’s agreements with international organizations for their possible denunciation. Exit from the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) will be considered, said State Duma Deputy Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy.
He said that all proposals will be analyzed together with the Federation Council. According to Mr. Tolstoy, it is necessary to review the treaties, “which bring not benefit but direct harm” to the country. He said: “Russia has withdrawn from the Council of Europe, and now it has a plan turn to withdraw from the WTO and the WHO, which have neglected all their obligations toward our country.”
Western countries began imposing sanctions in response to Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, announced by Vladimir Putin on February 24. Russian authorities are convinced that the sanctions are destroying the system of WTO rules. Already 14 members of the organization have stripped Russia of its most-favored-nation treatment.
On March 21, a draft law on Russia’s withdrawal from the WTO was submitted to the State Duma. Ukraine also initiated a discussion on closing the WHO office in Moscow. On 10 May, the WHO European Committee adopted a resolution proposing to close the organization’s office in Moscow.
