President Joe Biden’s administration is driving the world toward a devastating nuclear conflict by using the Ukraine crisis to fight a “proxy war” with Russia, former congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has warned.

“The American people need to understand the seriousness of the situation that the Biden administration and leaders in Washington have put us in,” Gabbard said on Wednesday night in a Fox News interview. The Hawaii Democrat, who was among the candidates whom Biden defeated to win his party’s 2020 presidential nomination, called for stepping back to focus on “the big picture and the great threat that we face, which is the reality that this war is continuing to escalate.”

Biden has led the charge for international sanctions to punish Moscow over its military offensive in Ukraine. The US has approved $70 billion in aid, including advanced weaponry, to help Ukraine fight Russian forces. During a visit to Israel on Thursday, Biden said Washington will continue to provide such aid indefinitely to ensure that Moscow suffers “a strategic failure” in Ukraine.

“President Biden himself says he has no idea when or how it’s going to end, but we know where this escalation leads,” Gabbard said. “It leads us closer and closer to the brink of a nuclear war with Russia.”

Biden’s anti-Russia campaign has contributed to the highest US inflation rate in more than 40 years, including record gasoline and diesel prices. Nevertheless, Democratic and Republican war hawks alike have backed the strategy. After voting to approve a $40 billion Ukraine aid package in May, US Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) said, “Investing in the destruction of our adversary’s military, without losing a single American troop, strikes me as a good idea.”

Gabbard argued that US leaders are being cavalier about the crisis, ignoring the risk of triggering a catastrophic war with Russia. She gave the example of a recent public service announcement, or PSA, in New York City, which advised residents to stay indoors in the event of a nuclear attack.

“I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that PSA because it’s insane,” Gabbard said. “They’re treating us as though we’re like back in the ’50s and ’60s when teachers are telling kids to go under your desk and you’ll be protected from a nuclear attack. It’s crazy.”

  • The reality is, President Biden, members of Congress, leaders in our country, the wealthy, they will have a safe place to be in the event of a nuclear war that they are behind causing while the rest of us in America and Russia, people around the world, will be decimated from this event.

Gabbard claimed that US leaders were treating the risk of provoking a direct war with Russia “as if it’s nothing.” Meanwhile, she added, “they’ve been making plans on how they can continue to wage this war from an underground bunker. This is the seriousness of the threat that we face and how crazy and disturbing it is that President Biden and people in his administration can be so nonchalant about how they are the ones who are continuing to drive this forward.”

Critics of Gabbard, including legacy media outlets and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, have accused her of being a Russian agent because of her criticisms of US policies. Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran who still serves as a lieutenant colonel in the US Army Reserves, has argued that she faces attacks for speaking the truth.

Biden’s current Middle East trip, which includes a stop in Saudi Arabia, “exposes what a complete farce his whole autocracy-versus-democracy foreign policy is,” Gabbard said. While claiming that the US must support Ukraine to “save democracy,” she added, the president will meet with autocratic dictators to seek their help in the anti-Russia campaign.

“It is a sham, it is a lie that the American people need to see straight through and hold leaders accountable for that lie and for the cost that they are bringing onto the American people and, frankly, to the world the further they escalate this war,” Gabbard said.

  1. Tulsi Gabbard, as G Duff pointed out back then, was sent to Syria to do political recon. She knows a lot more than she lets on. She is walking a fine line without revealing intel.

  2. Under Harry S. Truman, Nagasaki and Hiroshima underwent nuclear air burst attack after an extensive fire bombing campaign, wiping out any remains. The residual radiation left by the almost complete aerial combustion or atomic reaction was so thorough, that the cities are now restored to habitation with minimal effects of radiation.

It is interesting how the tide has turned. Whereas it was the Japanese who were the initial aggressors 8 decades ago, but this was due to economic sanctions provoking them to war. Now, do we see the same scenario again?

The only difference I see is that if Russia is pushed to the brink where they consider any form of negotiation is a lost cause, the difference is that it is they who now possess weapon superiority. It is now they although imperfect, hold closer to Biblical values of family and Christianity versus the US, which has abandoned all sense of morality and human decency.

It would not surprise me if one day, we should see a nuclear holocaust through nuclear air burst over the most morally decayed cities in the US: New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Atlanta, and etc. The administration has already shown itself to be the most incredibly incompetent set of miscreants to date in US history.

Do I wish for such an event? Absolutely not. But there are limits to tolerance, and for the Russian bear it must be wearing very thin.

    • The Biden admin is not merely incompetent, although I wish they were. They are destroying the country on purpose. Biden admin is “bought and paid for”; the question is by whom. Clearly, China pulls their strings. And China is a client of Germany’s DVD.

  3. I stopped being surprised by the news from the USA a long time ago. I mean political and social. I liked the work “Alice in Wonderland” as a child. But the American political parody of this work collects fkng money all over the world in a modern interpretation.

  4. For the first time in US history: Biden’s fatal step against Russia revealed.
No previous American leader has tried to risk his country by getting involved in a conflict with Russia in territories that “were never vital” to the United States , CNS News reports citing a military expert, author of the book Nixon’s White House Wars… » Patrick Bunkenan.
According to him, the most dangerous step of the current US presidentJoe Biden  is Finland’s invitation to the North Atlantic Alliance . The expert points out that if Helsinki has an armed conflict with Moscow, the United States will also be drawn into it.
Bunkenan said that going to war with the Soviet Union to preserve Finnish territory during the Cold War would have been seen as insane.
No Cold War president dared to take on such a responsibility – to stake the survival of the American nation in order to protect the territory of a country that would never be of interest and would be thousands of miles from the United States, ”the article says.
The expert recalls one of the postulates of geostrategic policy: a major power should not allow a lesser power to drag it into a major war. At the same time, the blame for what is happening in the world, according to Bunkenan, lies with Washington.

    • If I remember rightly Finland signed a nonaggression pact with Russia after WW II meaning that Finland joining NATO is in direct violation of that agreement.

    • If Pat Buchanan said that about Finland, he’s absolutely right. Pat is a “paleoconservative”, opposed to the “neocons”. He was definitely the star of CNN’s Crossfire, back when anybody still bothered to watch CNN.

  5. Bidan “won” because the Primary was rigged just like the election. Probably the same goes for Crenshaw because nobody in their right mind would vote for that Neocon POS. Tulsi’s right about Bidan groveling to KSA but she failed to mention his alliance with that same shit hole country that tried to sink the Liberty and blew up the World Trade Center who wants to go to war with Iran which is another Nuclear tripwire.

  6. Now, while I did dis Gabbard and rightfully so in my mind, there are those out there that do eclipse and dwarf her in pure crap. I watched a video report from iearlgrey in which he played a BBC interview with a UK Admiral. Now, I fully believed that CNN was the undisputed king of unadulterated BULLSHIT. However, after listening to this complete load of manure (and that is being kind), I believe that CNN should up their game to show that the US is second to none. The BBC interview is far and above anything I have seen on CNN. My only disclaimer is that I have not watched CNN for over 12 years, only seeing their offerings online. Maybe CNN has lost their edge and I just didn’t see it. At any rate, I call on CNN to revive it’s reputation and show the BBC who is the true hegemonic media propaganda king.

  7. While Gabbard speaks the truth, I just wonder what her policies would be if she were in the WH. Yes, she is saying all the right things…now. Yet, she is part and parcel of the problem. The denigration and demonizing of other leaders, which of course leads to the situation we are in now. Funny how they say all the right things when they want to run for office, yet when they get there, it’s all a different story. Just as President Putin said, the faces change, but the actions remain the same. No doubt this woman would do the same, regardless her rhetoric. Let’s not forget, she continued to call Assad ‘a dictator who gassed his own people’. If that isn’t spouting the same neo-con crap, what is? She calls for what, exactly? The same as Tramp? He said no more wars and bring the troops home…just before he escalated our Yemen involvement and bombed Syria twice, spouting the very same BS as those before him. She would be no different. She is also a member of those alphabet NGOs. Then, of course, there is the bended knee for Israel as well. I could quote a lot of wonderful things Tramp said too, that turned out be to be BS.

    • Spot on. Funny how she never said a word about the worst dictatorship or apartheid or whatever you want to call the baby killers occupying Palestine the cancer of this world. Yes Assad is bad because her scripts coming from that shithole Israel reads that way. I think she’s controlled opposition. As soon as you hear a politician bothsidesing the Palestinian Israeli crap it’s clear that they are getting paid by Likud.
Plus she’s military. Pentagon loves her.

    • She will be the VT darling, saying Conservative positions, yet fully Democrat, woke and WEF, Schwab trained.

    • “She will be the VT darling, saying Conservative positions”

      WTF

I’m pretty sure you missed the last five to ten years on here Mr. Toby. For all in attendance, those were the Gordon Duff Years. Those were the years where any conservative positions were synonymous with automatic deletion of all your comments, being called a “Dumb F**k”, a “Russian agent”, and then a “Trumpster”, even your profile would be deleted. Trust me I know.

    • Mihail…Yeah, I remember those heady days of Anti-Tramp, pro-Dem idiocy. I just put them down to over-the-top crap to keep the feds off their ass. Duff did say that ~30% of their articles was BS…for the censors. Don’t now about the cancelling part, as I never got that treatment. Not that I don’t believe you, I do, but just sayin’…I never pulled my punches regarding the Dems/Repugs, nor did I ever go for the anti-Russian BS. But you also gotta admit that JEA never let up on the Zionist agenda and is pro-Russian. I take a lot of the stuff I read online with grain or two of salt…reading between the lines. I always took the position that VT was very over-the-top for a reason…to show the absurdity of their argument. I could be wrong…especially if they took actions against posters. I know of another Russian that was banned from here as well, so I do know you’re not lying.
