Jim W. Dean - The Kurds are only 30% of the population in Northern Syria, and their playing local henchmen for the US over the other 70% of the population is a crime, which the MSM has not covered.
Jim W. Dean - Assad does not have to prove himself. He has done that. But dealing with the Kurds is going to be a delicate operation, an opportunity handed to him on a silver plate by Erdogan.
This week, President Assad and his wife and elder son visited Oregano Restaurant in Damascus unexpectedly. The Restaurant Manger thanked President Assad for choosing his humble restaurant and said “very glad to receive you Mr. President, with your family. Your unexpected presence, along with your family, created an ambiance of warmth, love and happiness.”

The US decision to invade Iraq and unintentionally deliver it gift-wrapped to the Axis of Resistance was one of the worst strategic blunders in history. (It worked OK for Israel though...so far.)
