Ex-Yemeni leader Saleh killed after selling out to Saudis

A sad epitaph for a wily survivor

Reports from Yemen’s Ansar Allah forces that they have killed former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh are now confirmed.

The increasingly desperate Saudi leadership had just cut a deal with Saleh aimed at making him the new figurehead of their avidly-desired, ever-more-phantasmagoric Saudi-controlled Yemen. (Previous Saudi figurehead Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi had just been suddenly betrayed by Zionist-backed Bin Salman and his Riyadh roughnecks and erased from history – to the point that the BBC story on Saleh doesn’t even mention Hadi’s name!)

The demise of Saleh (and with him the latest Saudi scheme to take over Yemen) underline the fact that Ansar Allah are in control of Sana and other key areas – and that the Yemeni people are determined to resist a Saudi takeover of their country. The ever-more-genocidal Saudi attacks on the civilian population of Yemen have only stiffened Yemeni resolve…and perhaps planted the seeds of the coming downfall of the House of Saud, which, like the Soviet Union after its Afghanistan debacle, appears to be devouring itself in a pre-collapse frenzy.

The sudden demise of sold-out Saleh suggests that the future of the Middle East belongs to those who stand on principle, keep their word, and refuse to betray their friends – rather than Machievellian manipulators and unprincipled orangutans. The Zionist-owned-and-operated House of Saud should take note and adjust course before they too suffer the same fate.
